This policy explains what personal data Henosys Technologies Ltd ("Henosys", "we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to henosystech.com and its subdomains. Our apps have their own privacy policies, linked from the footer.
1. Who we are
Henosys Technologies Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@henosystech.com.
2. The data we collect
Data you give us
- Waitlist sign-up: your email address and the date and time you submitted it.
- Email enquiries: whatever you choose to include when you write to us, such as your name, organisation and the details of your request.
Data collected automatically
- Abuse prevention: when you submit the waitlist form, we record the network (IP) address it came from for up to one hour, to limit repeated submissions.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to run the service and detect attacks. These are kept for up to 30 days.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party embeds, and fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting this site makes no requests to advertising or analytics networks.
3. How and why we use it
- To tell you when the product you asked about becomes available (waitlist). Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to remove you.
- To answer your enquiries and, where relevant, to discuss and perform a contract with you. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To keep the website secure and available. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- our website hosting and content-delivery provider, which also stores waitlist submissions;
- our email delivery provider, which sends waitlist notifications to our mailbox;
- our email and productivity provider, which hosts our company mailbox.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public. We will tell you if the categories of provider we use change in a way that affects your data.
5. International transfers
Our service providers operate global infrastructure, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country you live in. Where that happens, we rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until the product launches and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
- Email correspondence: for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, then for up to six years for record-keeping.
- Abuse-prevention IP record: up to one hour. Server logs: up to 30 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers. Access to waitlist data and our mailbox is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@henosystech.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use waitlist data will also be announced by email to the people on the list.
